About W.A. Bolin
Court Jeweller W.A. Bolin is one of the world’s oldest, highly reputed and most exclusive jewellery houses. The Bolin family has owned the company since it was first established in St. Petersburg in 1791. This makes W.A. Bolin the world’s oldest jeweller family still in business today. Over the centuries W.A. Bolin has been Court Jeweller to five Russian tsars and three Swedish kings. The Bolin family, originally from Gothenburg and Stockholm, first established itself as jewellers in St. Petersburg and then expanded to Moscow before moving to Stockholm in 1916, the year before the Russian revolution (go to History)
W.A. Bolin is also one of few contemporary jewellers with its own studio, located on the same premises as the Stureplan shop in Stockholm, where experienced and extremely gifted goldsmiths make jewellery for W.A. Bolin’s own collection and on commission (go to Studio). The shop also sells carefully selected jewellery and objects made by other designers as well as unique vintage jewellery (go to Shop and Studio).
In addition to its own shop and its own collection, W.A. Bolin also stages Northern Europe’s leading auctions for quality jewellery, silver objects and precious ornaments. These are held twice a year, in April and November (go to Auction).
W.A. Bolin has been a family-owned company for 217 years. This tradition guarantees expertise, stability and personal dedication.
